Azad Jammu Kashmir is the Pakistani controlled part of erstwhile state of Jammu & Kashmir. It has been a bone of contention between Pakistan and India for many decades. It is also the main cause of rivalry between two nuclear giants which has resulted in 3 Indo-Pak wars.Though area of Azad Jammu Kashmir is very small; only 13,297 square kilometers but its geography is very complex.It is a narrow strip of land mostly mountainous which borders Gujrat on the south and Gilgit-Baltistan on the extreme north.
