This course will explore the new, easy-to-use features in Esri's ArcGIS 10.1 to 10.4 and also arc-pro
1.2 software suite which includes ArcMap, Arc-Catalog and ArcToolbox. ArcMap is a map-centric
application for the editing, display, query and analysis of map data as well as map layout tasks.
ArcToolbox is an organization of Geoprocessing tools such as data conversion, overlay processing,
buffer creation and map transformation. Arc Catalog is a data-centric application that lets the user
locate, browse and manage spatial data. This course is intended for both new and experienced users
of geographic information systems. Experience using Windows-based applications is highly
recommended.
Saif Ullah is a remote sensing (RS) expert and geographic information system (GIS) analyst. He has done BS and MS in RS & GIS from prestigious institutes in Pakistan and has more than 5 years’ experience in his field.
